The team at Venues Event Management have gone back to the future with Great Escape Cars. To ensure clients are getting the most of the services provided by Venues Event Management the team regularly meet with different suppliers and organisations for fresh innovative ideas or in this case something more of a classic feel.
Great Escape Classic Car Hire visited Venues Event Management on Tuesday 12th June to showcase a couple of their prized possessions including the DeLorean DMC-12. With its gull-wing doors a modified version of the car became iconic for its appearance as a time machine in the Back to the Future film franchise. The car could be seen driving on the outskirts of Swindon and was a real eye catcher to anyone passing by, anyone might have thought Michael J Fox was passing through.
Not only did the team get to jump back in time with the DeLorean, they also experienced the more beautiful and elegant supercharged Jaguar XKR ideal for touring across the countryside in supreme comfort and luxury. Both cars providing a unique driving experience and are the perfect feature for any event.
Graham Eason, Managing Director of Great Escape Classic Car Hire commented:
“It’s always exciting to see new people take the opportunity of driving one of these classic cars. For us it is important to work together with agencies such as Venues Event Management as event organisers don’t tend to think of this as an additional feature to their event. It’s a great experience not only for drivers, but non drivers also as they can be taken out and experience the thrill.”
Anita Lowe, Chief Executive of Venues Event Management says:
“We are always looking for innovative ideas for our events and this was such a fantastic opportunity for the employees at Venues Event Management to gain a hands on experience of driving one of these fabulous cars. There is nothing like experiencing something yourself to be able to sell this as you can relay your personal experience on to potential clients.”
