Zafferano takes a bow at the Natural History Museum Ice Rink

zafferanoOn 8 January our season as in-house caterers at the Natural History Museum Ice Rink came to end and we hung up our skates for another year after a jam-packed Winter run.

As well as providing an 'Après-Skate' menu of Glühwein, Bratwurst, and Mince Pies for over 300,000 skaters, we also catered stylish events for corporates, charities and sponsors.

The season's highlight was a party for our Venue clients when 200 guests joined us for cockle-warming cocktails, skating and canapés. Gorgeous waitresses served Spiced Mulled Apple Cider, ‘Very Berry Martinis’ and a delicious Quince Collins.

While many braved the ice, others feasted on Winter canapés including, Beef Wellington skewers with Guinness reduction shots served on ‘Eat Me, Drink Me’ inscribed slates, Smoked wood pigeon with radish, pea purée and celery salts, and Lemon cream with candy floss wisps and popping candy. All guests went home with goody bags and jars of home-made Zafferano Cointreau and Brandy mincemeat!
