Central Hall Westminster, May 15, 2012– Central Hall Westminster is marking its upcoming 100th anniversary with a new brand identity, designed to reinforce the venue’s position as it enters its second century.
The venue, which can claim to be one of the world’s first purpose-built meetings facilities, will roll out the new identity in its branding and marketing and communications materials.
Maria Schuett, Marketing Manager, said: “As Central Hall Westminster reaches its centenary, we believe it is the right time to strengthen our identity. The visual effect and message brings into focus three of the venue’s most significant attributes, namely its location, size and architecture.
“The venue’s location is a prime setting, overlooking Westminster Abbey and Big Ben. Central Hall Westminster was built as a meeting place in 1912 and offers a remarkable range of event spaces.
“Further, the evolution symbolises a key milestone in the venue’s unrivalled 100-year history and looks into the future with a clear vision of mixing proud traditions with modern innovation.’’
Paul Southern, Managing Director, said: “We are thrilled to be reaching 100 years of operating and are keen to use the landmark as a strong platform for the future. Built as a meeting place in October 1912, Central Hall Westminster has staged a range of high profile events from the United Nations’ Inaugural Assembly in 1946 to the recent Laureus World Sports Awards.
‘’Central Hall Westminster is the largest conference venue in central London with an impressive portfolio of more than 20 large and small meeting rooms. Our clients value the venue’s flexibility, our dedicated service to excellence and social responsibility towards our community.’’
