Established in 1971, The Association is the broadest membership organisation in the meetings industry. ACE is unique in that it acts as a forum and information centre for members involved in all facets of the industry.
These include corporate companies, professional institutions, charities, societies, local authorities, trade associations and educational bodies. All these members organise events and purchase venues, facilities and services from the most comprehensive range of suppliers.
In additional, several companies and traders operating as independent organisers of events, motivational and incentive specialists and venue finding agencies are also ACE members.
Supplier members of the Association include hotels, universities, conference centres, event venues, and companies offering products and/or services relating to the organisation of events.
ACE has representation in several countries and throughout the UK. ACE not only provides a voice to government but actively participates with representation on the UK industries umbrella body, the Business Tourism Partnership (BTP) and through BTP is a member of the Tourism Alliance and is also a member of the Events Industry Forum.
