England's Heritage Cities Exhibiting in Europe for the First Time

England’s Heritage Cities (EHC) were delighted to be exhibiting their unique business product for the first time at EIBTM in December.  England’s Heritage Cities for business are 5 of the UK’s most celebrated heritage business destinations - Bath, Chester, Oxford, Stratford-upon-Avon and York – working together to showcase their diverse product offer to the meetings and incentive market.  EIBTM is the leading exhibition for the conference, incentives, events, and business travel and meetings industry, held in the Mediterranean city of Barcelona.

CHW - Poetry Live for Haiti PDF Print E-mail
chw_exterior_web On Saturday 30th January 2010, ACE member Central Hall Westminster (CHW) played host to Poetry Live for Haiti, a fundraising event organised by Poet Laureate Carol Ann Duffy in aid of the Disasters Emergency Committee's Haiti Earthquake Appeal.

Carol Ann Duffy and Poetry Live invited 20 of Britain's leading poets to perform at Central Hall Westminster to raise money for the people of Haiti.  Poets included Carol Ann Duffy, Brian Patten, Roger McGough, Gillian Clark and Jo Shapcott.

British Dental Association launches Venue website PDF Print E-mail

Located in the heart of London’s medical quarter at 64 Wimpole Street, the BDA’s Headquarters was opened by HM Queen Elizabeth II in 1967. The building has a variety of facilities for members and non-members alike, from an extensive members only library and informal working zone to Europe’s largest Dental Library and Museum Collection. The building is also used as a venue with numerous meeting rooms available for hire.
