ACE Chairman Michael SharpEverybody in business welcomes new ideas to increase productivity, up revenue and improve service. In the current challenging times we welcome such ideas even more.
Reworking aspects of our business strategy can offer more effective modes of operating which make all the difference when times are tough.

Rohit Talwar, a recent speaker at the ACE Industry Get Togethers, states this fact persuasively in this issue and his words are well worth taking on board. New technologies are increasingly central to the events, conference and exhibition sector and I am delighted that our Association is helping to pave the way for the future by inviting industry experts such as Rohit Talwar to tell us how it is. It offers us all a head start.

I know I am not alone in appreciating working in an industry that is full of talented people. The economic downturn may not be over but there is safety in numbers. The range of features in our Eventful Times publication reflects the diversity of our membership base and a community of business people working together.

I wish you all every success in the year to come.
Best wishes
Michael Sharp
