Each member of the Association shall:
- Continually strive to improve the standard of practice in the meetings and events industry.
- Actively encourage persons working under their supervision to maintain and develop their individual competence.
- Deal fairly and honestly with employees, clients, suppliers, fellow members, the media and the community and, if required, to give opinion shall do so conscientiously and without malice.
- Disclose the relevant facts in conflicting or competing interests and shall not seek to gain advantage by promoting disguised or undisclosed interests.
- Scrupulously maintain the confidentiality of information entrusted to them, except on the order of a court or competent authority, and not to make use of such information for personal gain or otherwise.
- So order their conduct as to uphold the reputation of the Association and the dignity of the profession.
