ACE Code of Practice

Each member of the Association shall:

  1. Continually strive to improve the standard of practice in the meetings and events industry.
  2. Actively encourage persons working under their supervision to maintain and develop their individual competence.
  3. Deal fairly and honestly with employees, clients, suppliers, fellow members, the media and the community and, if required, to give opinion shall do so conscientiously and without malice.
  4. Disclose the relevant facts in conflicting or competing interests and shall not seek to gain advantage by promoting disguised or undisclosed interests.
  5. Scrupulously maintain the confidentiality of information entrusted to them, except on the order of a court or competent authority, and not to make use of such information for personal gain or otherwise.
  6. So order their conduct as to uphold the reputation of the Association and the dignity of the profession.

ACE - A brief History

Established in 1971, The Association is the broadest membership organisation in the meetings industry.  ACE is unique in that it acts as a forum and information centre for members involved in all facets of the industry.

These include corporate companies, professional institutions, charities, societies, local authorities, trade associations and educational bodies.  All these members organise events and purchase venues, facilities and services from the most comprehensive range of suppliers.
